Game changing VR filmmaking and 360 photography.

Toro Bravo

My VR work includes filming the award-winning ‘Toro Bravo’ 360 degree film, documenting the infamous bull run in Pamplona, Spain. The 360 video below is interactive on desktop or laptop computers and compatible mobile phones:

Hogwarts Express

I also pioneered the use of drones to shoot 360 VR aerial shots, including shooting this edit of the real-life Hogwarts express that was made famous by the Harry Potter films. I developed a unique editing technique that enabled me to make the drone invisible leaving the viewer ‘flying’ through the scene without distraction. The film is interactive on desktop computers and compatible mobile phones.

The Gaza War.

In 2014 I covered the war in Gaza and shot the first ever VR footage of a conflict. The 360 photographs were shot in 12k resolution and were so ahead of their time that it’s still only possible to view them in 8k, less than half the pixel resolution of the originals. These images are a combination of traditional black and white war photography and modern 360 degrees VR technology, allowing the viewer the freedom to look around for the first time.

‘Life in a Camp’ VR exhibition at the Imperial War Museum, London.

I produced, filmed and edited the widely acclaimed exhibit which used VR filming technology to put people ‘virtually’ inside a refugee camp by projecting the images on the walls surrounding the viewer. The exhibition received excellent reviews in the press.
