From the Thames to the Yacht Interiors with Moonshot

The Oyster Yachts sequence was designed as one connected journey, beginning over the River Thames before revealing Tower Bridge, dropping to water level and continuing into St Katharine Docks. From there, the flight moved around the yacht display and into the vessels themselves, transitioning from open-air aerial movement to tight interior FPV without changing the visual language of the sequence.

Using Whyldthings Moonshot throughout was particularly valuable because the same aircraft could handle very different environments within one shoot. Its endurance supported the longer exterior routes, while its compact size and low weight made it suitable for close-proximity flying around the marina and inside the yachts.

The route required careful control at every stage: low-level flying above water, navigation around moored vessels and marina infrastructure, then precise movement through narrow yacht interiors containing high-value finishes and confined passageways.

That ability to move from a major London landmark, through the waterfront and directly into the product itself gave the film a much stronger sense of progression than separate aerial and interior shots could achieve.
