The sequence moved across three floors of the building, combining tight gaps, orbits, reverse tracking and complex transitions to reveal the scale, flow and character of the workspace in one uninterrupted cinematic flight. Designing the Three-Floor FPV Flythrough
The Warner Bros. Discovery shoot was built around a single continuous FPV journey through the company’s London headquarters, using the movement of the drone to connect different floors, workspaces and architectural features into one coherent cinematic sequence.
The route combined tight gaps, controlled orbits, reverse tracking, changes in height and multi-floor transitions, with each manoeuvre planned to lead naturally into the next. Rather than filming the office as a series of separate rooms, the aim was to show how the headquarters flowed as a working environment and give the viewer a stronger sense of scale, movement and spatial connection.
For the shoot I used the first-generation Moonshot, an early version of my custom long-endurance FPV platform. The aircraft was developed to combine the agility and close-proximity control needed for indoor cinewhoop-style filming with longer flight times and greater flexibility for complex continuous camera moves.
Flying across three floors also introduced a significant technical challenge: maintaining reliable control and video signal through a complex interior containing walls, floors and structural obstacles. Pilot positioning, route design and signal coverage therefore had to be considered together, ensuring the flight remained both cinematic and dependable throughout the building.
The result was a technically demanding indoor FPV sequence designed to feel effortless on screen - one uninterrupted camera move through Warner Bros. Discovery’s London headquarters, demonstrating how specialist FPV can reveal the scale and flow of a commercial interior in a way conventional camera systems cannot.
