Designing the Continuous FPV Flythrough

The Sketch shoot was built around a continuous journey through the venue’s distinct interiors, using FPV to connect spaces that each have their own visual identity. The route moved between the Gallery, Glade, Lecture Room & Library, Parlour and East Bar & Pods, with each transition planned to feel natural rather than simply moving from one room to the next.

The technical challenge was maintaining smooth, controlled camera movement through tight interiors filled with furniture, artwork, architectural details and highly designed surfaces. Flight paths, pilot position, clearances and signal coverage all had to be considered in advance so the sequence could remain precise and repeatable throughout the venue.

FPV was particularly effective at Sketch because the building is experienced as a series of very different environments. A continuous flythrough allowed the camera to reveal how those spaces connect while preserving the atmosphere, detail and theatrical character that make the venue distinctive.

Specialist FPV for Hospitality & Luxury Interiors

The Sketch project is part of a wider body of indoor FPV work across luxury hospitality, premium commercial interiors and highly designed spaces where atmosphere, detail and movement are central to the brief.

I use specialist FPV systems to create continuous camera moves through restaurants, hotels, private venues, offices and branded environments, connecting multiple rooms and architectural features in a way that conventional camera systems cannot easily replicate.

For hospitality and luxury interiors, FPV is especially effective when the aim is to make viewers feel as though they are moving through the space themselves - revealing layout, scale and design in one fluid cinematic journey while maintaining the precise control required around valuable interiors and complex environments.
